Ingredients

Scale
  • 1.5 pounds boneless skinless chicken thighs
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • 3/4 teaspoon table salt
  • 3/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 (7-ounce) container plain Greek yogurt
  • 5 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon minced fresh ginger
  • 1 tablespoon ground cumin
  • 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon ground turmeric
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cayenne

Instructions

  1. Marinate the Chicken: Rub salt, pepper, and lime juice over chicken thighs. Mix marinade ingredients in a bowl and coat each thigh thoroughly. Cover and refrigerate for 6 to 24 hours.
  2. Prepare the Oven: Preheat oven to high broil or bake at 450°F. Line a baking sheet with foil or parchment paper.
  3. Cook the Chicken: Place marinated chicken on the baking sheet without overcrowding. Broil for about 15-20 minutes until the top is mostly dry with some blackened tips. Flip chicken and cook for another 10 minutes until fully cooked.
