  • 1 package strawberry-flavored gelatin mix
  • 2430 chocolate kiss candies
  • Powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, cream together softened butter and granulated sugar until fluffy. Add the egg and vanilla, mixing well.
  2. Stir in the strawberry gelatin powder until combined. In another bowl, whisk together flour and salt; gradually add to wet ingredients until a soft dough forms. Chill for at least 1 hour.
  3. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Roll chilled dough into balls and place them on a lined baking sheet.
  4. Bake for 11-13 minutes until edges are firm but centers are soft. Remove from oven and gently press a chocolate kiss into each cookie while warm.
  5. Allow to cool completely on a wire rack before dusting with powdered sugar.
