Ingredients
- 200 grams sourdough discard (1 cup stirred and unfed starter)
- 2 Tbsp unsalted butter (melted)
- 1/4 tsp fine sea salt
- Optional seasonings (flaky sea salt, everything bagel seasoning, sesame seeds)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Melt the butter in a large mixing bowl and let it cool until lukewarm.
- Add the sourdough discard and fine sea salt to the melted butter; mix until well combined.
- Spread the mixture thinly on the baking sheet into a nearly transparent layer.
- Sprinkle with flaky salt and desired seasonings.
- Bake for 10 minutes; then score into squares with a pizza cutter.
- Return to the oven and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes until golden brown and firm.
- Cool completely on the baking sheet before storing.
