- 1 cup sugar (divided)
- 11 tablespoons unsalted butter (divided)
- 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream (room temperature)

- 1/4 cup light corn syrup
- 1 large egg
- 2/3 cup evaporated milk
Instructions
- Prepare the salted caramel sauce by dissolving water and sugar in a saucepan over medium heat until it turns amber. Remove from heat; add butter, cream, and salt until smooth. Set aside to cool.
