Ingredients
- 2 heads cauliflower
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon paprika
- ¼ cup olive oil
- 1 teaspoon chopped parsley
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 500ºF (260ºC) and adjust the rack to the lower third position.
- Remove outer leaves from the cauliflower and trim the stem. Slice each head in half lengthwise, then cut 1 ½-inch thick steaks from each half.
- Mix salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika in a small bowl.
- Drizzle olive oil on both sides of the steaks, then evenly sprinkle the seasoning mixture over them.
- Place the steaks on a rimmed baking sheet and cover tightly with foil. Bake for 5 minutes; remove foil and roast for an additional 10 minutes. Flip each steak and roast until golden brown (6-8 minutes more).
- Transfer to a serving platter and garnish with chopped parsley.
