- 2 heads cauliflower
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon paprika
- ¼ cup olive oil
- 1 teaspoon chopped parsley
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 500ºF (260ºC) and adjust the rack to the lower third position.
- Remove the outer leaves from the cauliflower, trim the stem, and slice each head in half lengthwise. Cut 1½-inch thick steaks from each half.
- In a small bowl, mix together salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
- Drizzle olive oil on both sides of each steak and sprinkle the seasoning mixture evenly.
- Place the steaks on a rimmed baking sheet, cover with foil, and bake for 5 minutes. Then remove the foil and roast for another 10 minutes.
- Flip each steak over and roast until golden brown, approximately 6 to 8 minutes.
