  • 2 Tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 ½ tsp white vinegar
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Sauté the onion in olive oil until golden, about 5-7 minutes; let cool.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, sautéed onion, eggs, garlic, breadcrumbs, milk, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning until just mixed.
  4. Shape the mixture into a loaf on the prepared baking sheet.
  5. Bake uncovered for 40 minutes.
  6. For the glaze: Mix ketchup, brown sugar, vinegar, garlic powder, and onion powder in a bowl. Spread over the meatloaf and bake for an additional 20 minutes or until it reaches an internal temperature of 160°F.
