Ingredients
Scale
- 4 (8-ounce) lobster tails
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon coarse kosher salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted clarified butter
- 4–5 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon flat-leaf parsley, chopped
- 2 teaspoons lemon zest
- 1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika
Instructions
- Prepare the lemon butter sauce by melting clarified butter in a saucepan over low heat. Stir in minced garlic, lemon zest, parsley, and salt; cook for an additional minute and set aside.
- Butterfly each lobster tail using kitchen shears. Skewer them lengthwise to prevent curling during grilling.
- Brush the exposed meat with olive oil and sprinkle with salt.
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Grill the lobster tails meat-side down for about 5-6 minutes, flip, and cook for another 1-2 minutes until opaque and reaches an internal temperature of 140°F.
- Remove from grill and generously spoon lemon garlic butter sauce over each tail before serving.
