  • 16 oz cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 1 cup hot fudge sauce, warmed
  • 1 cup whipped cream
  • ½ cup chopped nuts, optional
  • 12 maraschino cherries with stems
  • Sprinkles, optional

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. For the brownie layer, mix melted butter with sugars, then add eggs and vanilla. Combine dry ingredients separately; fold into wet mixture. Pour into a greased springform pan.
  3. Bake for 25 minutes. Cool while preparing the cheesecake filling.
  4. Beat cream cheese until smooth; add sugar, eggs, vanilla, and sour cream until well combined.
  5. Pour cheesecake mixture over cooled brownie layer and bake for an additional 50–60 minutes until set but slightly jiggly.
  6. Cool in the oven with the door ajar for about an hour; refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  7. Serve topped with hot fudge sauce, whipped cream, nuts, cherries, or sprinkles.
