Ingredients
- 500 g (4 cups) bread flour
- 7 g (2 1/4 teaspoons) instant yeast
- 2 teaspoons kosher salt
- 480 g (2 cups) lukewarm water
- 6 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil (divided)
- Flaky salt for topping
- Optional: 1 tablespoon chopped rosemary
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix bread flour, yeast, and salt. Create a well in the center.
- Pour lukewarm water into the well and stir until a shaggy dough forms.
- Drizzle 30 g olive oil over the dough and rub it in until coated. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 18 to 72 hours.
- When ready to bake, preheat oven to 425°F (218°C). Grease a baking pan with non-stick spray and drizzle olive oil inside.
- Shape refrigerated dough into a ball and place in the prepared pan. Let rise uncovered for 3-4 hours at room temperature.
- After rising, drizzle remaining olive oil on top, press dimples with your fingers, sprinkle flaky salt and rosemary if desired.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown. Cool before slicing.
