- For filling: 1/4 cup butter, light brown sugar, and cinnamon
- For icing: cream cheese, unsalted butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract
Instructions
- Warm water until lukewarm; combine with yeast in a bowl for 5 minutes.
- Mix in sugar, salt, melted butter, and egg; gradually stir in flour to form dough.
- Knead on a floured surface for about 5-7 minutes; let rise covered for an hour until doubled.
- Roll out the dough into a rectangle; spread with softened butter and sprinkle with mixed filling ingredients.
- Roll tightly into a log; slice into 12 pieces and place on a greased baking sheet to rise for another 30 minutes.
