- 1/2 cup unsalted butter (softened)
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar (packed)
- 2 large eggs (room temperature)
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
- In a small bowl, mash the bananas until smooth and set aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until fluffy.
- Add the eggs, mashed banana, and vanilla extract to the creamed mixture, mixing well.
- Sift in the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Gently fold until just combined; then fold in three-quarters of the chocolate chips.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and sprinkle the remaining chocolate chips on top.
- Bake for 50 to 60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Let cool for at least 20 minutes before slicing.
