  • 8 boneless skinless chicken thighs
  • ¼ Korean pear
  • 1 stalk green onion
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp mirin
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp avocado oil
  • 1 garlic clove
  • ½ inch ginger
  • Optional: 1 tbsp gochujang for spice

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, mirin, sesame oil, avocado oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, and diced Korean pear. Mix until sugar dissolves.
  2. Add chicken thighs to the marinade and coat well. Let marinate for at least 15 minutes.

  5. Grill/Skillet: Cook over medium-high heat for about 5-7 minutes per side until cooked through.
