  • 2 large eggs (room temperature)
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups semi-sweet or milk chocolate chips
  • 1 cup caramel-flavored chips
  • Sea salt flakes (for sprinkling over top of cookies)
  • Caramel sauce or dulce de leche (optional, for drizzling over the top of cookies)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In a mixer, beat butter with granulated and brown sugars until fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla; mix well.
  4. Gradually incorporate dry ingredients until just combined. Fold in chocolate chips and caramel chips.
  5. Using a cookie scoop, drop dough onto prepared sheets about 2 inches apart; sprinkle with sea salt.
  6. Bake for 8-10 minutes or until set but soft in the center.
  7. Cool on the baking sheets for 5 minutes before transferring to wire racks.
