Description

Dorito Casserole is the ultimate comfort food that brings together zesty ground beef, creamy cheeses, and crunchy Doritos in a satisfying dish that’s sure to impress.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef (80/20)
  • 1 large yellow onion, chopped
  • 2 packages mild taco seasoning
  • 1 (14.5-ounce) can petite diced tomatoes, drained
  • 1 (4-ounce) can diced green chilies, mild
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 (10.75-ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 large bag nacho cheese Doritos
  • 1 ½ cups shredded Jack cheese
  • 1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (204°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef and chopped onion until the meat is browned. Drain excess fat.
  3. Stir in taco seasoning, diced tomatoes, green chilies, sour cream, and cream of mushroom soup until heated through.
  4. In the prepared baking dish, layer one-third of crushed Doritos, half of the beef mixture, another third of Doritos, the remaining beef mixture, and top with the last third of Doritos and shredded cheeses.
  5. Bake uncovered for about 20 minutes or until cheese is bubbly.
