Ingredients

  • 8 oz semi-sweet or dark chocolate
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream (or coconut milk)
  • Optional: 1/4 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • Optional: pinch salt

Instructions

  1. Finely chop the chocolate and place it in a heatproof bowl.
  2. Heat the cream (or coconut milk) in a saucepan until just boiling.
  3. Pour the hot cream over the chopped chocolate and add optional vanilla and salt. Stir until smooth.
  4. Refrigerate the mixture for at least 2 hours until firm.
  5. Use a mini cookie scoop or your hands to roll the mixture into small balls.
  6. Optionally roll truffles in cocoa powder, sprinkles, or crushed nuts before serving.
