  • 1 tablespoon garam masala
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 15-ounce can tomato sauce
  • 1.5 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 5 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 teaspoons garam masala
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon table salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cayenne

Instructions

  1. Marinate the chicken: Mix yogurt, garam masala, lemon juice, black pepper, and ginger in a large bowl. Cut chicken into bite-sized pieces and coat well. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
  2. Sear the chicken: Heat a nonstick pan over high heat. Cook marinated chicken in batches until golden brown; set aside.
  3. Prepare the sauce: In the same pan, combine tomato sauce, heavy cream, garlic, and remaining garam masala. Add seared chicken and simmer for about 20 minutes until thickened.
