Ingredients

  • 2 cups dry egg noodles
  • 2 cups cooked chicken (diced)
  • 10.5 oz condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 cup frozen peas or veggie medley
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 tbsp breadcrumbs
  • 1 tbsp melted butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Boil water in a large pot and cook the egg noodles until al dente according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the drained noodles, diced chicken, cream of chicken soup, milk, frozen peas, and black pepper. Stir until well mixed.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix together the cheddar cheese, breadcrumbs, and melted butter.
  5. Pour the noodle mixture into a greased 2-quart baking dish and top with the breadcrumb mixture.
  6. Bake for about 20 minutes or until bubbly. Broil for an additional minute if you desire a golden topping.
