Description

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb chicken breast
  • 12 oz gluten-free farfalle pasta
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 3 cups heavy cream
  • 12 oz shredded Parmesan cheese
  • 1 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1 1/2 tsp oregano
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp thyme
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp dry shallots
  • 2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 2 tbsp Gluten Free 1:1 Flour
  • 1/4 cup pasta water
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Boil pasta according to package directions until al dente; drain and set aside.
  2. Season chicken with paprika, oregano, garlic powder, thyme, salt, and pepper.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat; sear chicken for about 5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  4. Reduce heat to medium-low; cover and cook chicken for an additional 10-12 minutes until it reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.
  5. Remove chicken from skillet and melt butter in the same pan. Add dry shallots, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning; stir for one minute.
  6. Gradually whisk in gluten-free flour followed by chicken broth and heavy cream until smooth.
  7. Stir in shredded Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy. Toss cooked pasta into sauce and mix well.
  8. Slice the chicken and fold into the pasta mixture before serving.
