- 1 1/2 lb chicken breast
- 12 oz gluten-free farfalle pasta
- 4 tbsp butter
- 3 cups heavy cream
- 12 oz shredded Parmesan cheese
- 1 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1 1/2 tsp oregano
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp thyme
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 tsp dry shallots
- 2 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 2 tbsp Gluten Free 1:1 Flour
- 1/4 cup pasta water
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp garlic powder
Instructions
- Boil pasta according to package directions until al dente; drain and set aside.
- Season chicken with paprika, oregano, garlic powder, thyme, salt, and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat; sear chicken for about 5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Reduce heat to medium-low; cover and cook chicken for an additional 10-12 minutes until it reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.
- Remove chicken from skillet and melt butter in the same pan. Add dry shallots, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning; stir for one minute.
- Gradually whisk in gluten-free flour followed by chicken broth and heavy cream until smooth.
- Stir in shredded Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy. Toss cooked pasta into sauce and mix well.
- Slice the chicken and fold into the pasta mixture before serving.
