Description

Cheesy Ranch Potatoes and Smoked Sausage is a comforting dish that’s sure to delight your family and friends. This hearty casserole features tender, creamy potatoes combined with savory smoked sausage, all coated in a rich ranch dressing mix and melted cheddar cheese.

  • 1 lb Monon Meats Smoked Sausage, thinly sliced
  • 2 lbs potatoes, diced
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 packet ranch dressing mix
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 onion, finely diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup chopped green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the sliced smoked sausage until fully cooked. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, sauté diced onions and minced garlic until translucent (about 5 minutes).
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine diced potatoes, cooked sausage, sautéed onion, garlic, shredded cheese, ranch dressing mix, milk, melted butter, salt, and pepper.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 60 minutes.
  6. Remove the foil and bake an additional 15 minutes until potatoes are tender and the top is golden brown.
  7. Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
