- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter (cold and cubed)
- 1/4 cup chopped pecans (optional)
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup water
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1/4 tsp salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9×13 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, granulated sugar, and cinnamon. Press firmly into the bottom of the prepared pan to form the crust.
- In another bowl, beat softened cream cheese and granulated sugar until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in vanilla.
- Toss diced apples with lemon juice, brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg in a separate bowl.
- Spread half of the cheesecake mixture over the crust, layer with apple mixture, then top with remaining cheesecake filling. Smooth out the surface.
- For the topping, mix flour, brown sugar, cold cubed butter, and chopped pecans until crumbly; sprinkle over cheesecake mixture.
