  • ¾ teaspoon salt
  • 6 ounces semisweet chocolate (for ganache)
  • ¾ cup heavy whipping cream
  • Fleur de sel (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Melt the semisweet chocolate and butter together in a double boiler or microwave until smooth.
  3. In a mixing bowl, whisk the melted mixture with sugars and eggs until combined; add vanilla.
  4. Sift flour, cocoa powder, and salt into another bowl, then fold into the wet ingredients until just mixed.
  5. Pour the batter into a greased 9×9 inch pan and bake for 25–30 minutes; check doneness with a toothpick.
  6. Cool brownies completely before cutting them into squares.
  7. Prepare ganache by heating cream and pouring it over chopped chocolate; stir until smooth.
  8. Dip each brownie square into ganache or drizzle it on top; sprinkle with Fleur de sel.
