  • 3 cups fresh broccoli florets
  • 2 packages ramen noodles
  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1/3 cup beef broth
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons hoisin sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1/2 tablespoon grated ginger
  • 1/8 teaspoon cracked red pepper flakes
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil (divided)
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/2 cup water
  • Sesame seeds (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Whisk together soy sauce and cornstarch in a medium bowl. Add beef broth, honey, hoisin sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, and red pepper flakes. Set aside.
  2. Cook ramen noodles in boiling water for 2-3 minutes; drain and rinse under cold water.
  3. In a nonstick skillet over medium-high heat, cook seasoned steak until browned; set aside.
  4. Sauté broccoli with water until bright green and crisp.
  5. Add steak and cooked noodles back to the skillet; pour in sauce and stir to combine.
  6. Serve immediately garnished with sesame seeds.
