Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 rack baby back pork ribs (about 2 pounds/900g)
  • 1/3 cup bourbon (optional)
  • 3/4 cup ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons dark brown sugar
  • 1 cup diced fresh peaches
  • 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1/2 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 3/4 tablespoon onion powder
  • 3/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 3/4 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 300°F (149°C).
  2. Combine rub ingredients: smoked paprika, chili powder, garlic powder, brown sugar, and salt.
  3. Prepare the ribs by rinsing and drying them; remove the silver skin for better flavor absorption.
  4. Apply the rub generously on both sides of the ribs and wrap in foil.
  5. Bake in preheated oven for about 2 hours until tender.
  6. Meanwhile, prepare the BBQ sauce by simmering bourbon (if using), ketchup, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, onion powder, garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, and peaches in a saucepan for about 15 minutes.
  7. Once baked, grill the ribs for 4–6 minutes per side after glazing with the peach BBQ sauce.
