Description

4th of July Marshmallow Pinwheels are a delightful, no-bake dessert that brings a burst of color and sweetness to your summer celebrations. These festive treats feature vibrant layers of red and blue gelatin combined with fluffy marshmallows, making them not only visually appealing but also incredibly fun to prepare.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 ounce red gelatin (e.g., JELL-O Gelatin Strawberry)
  • 1 ounce blue gelatin (e.g., JELL-O Gelatin Berry Blue)
  • 1 cup warm water (divided)
  • 3 cups miniature marshmallows
  • Lollipop sticks

Instructions

  1. Prepare an 8.5 x 11-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
  2. For the red layer, mix red gelatin with ½ cup warm water in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave for 1.5 minutes and stir until dissolved. Add marshmallows and microwave for another minute until partially melted. Whisk until smooth, cool slightly, then pour into the baking dish. Refrigerate until set.
  3. Repeat the process for the blue layer using blue gelatin and remaining warm water. Once the red layer is set, pour the blue layer on top.
  4. Refrigerate until fully set, then cut into strips and roll each strip into pinwheels around lollipop sticks.
